King really IS the King of story telling.
The Dark Tower series is one of the greatest series I have ever read, it starts out slow in the first book to give you background, but when you turn over page one of book two, POW! it grabs you and takes you on thrilling, ride that continues all the way to the last page of the last book.

Not a Comic Book for kids
Second Book in a comic book look of the The Dark Tower in hard/paperback series of seven books. This is mostly centers around the first three books the story behind the story not in the books. Very will put together by the Marvel artist.

Beautifully written and illustrated.
I have been reading the Dark Tower books by Stephen King since I was in my early teens. It's great to find out more about Roland and what made him the way he is. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

My favorite books ever!
Stephen King's Dark Tower novels are my favorite books. When I first heard that graphic novels would be coming I was curious. The Gunslinger Born was only the second graphic novel I ever read and the first one I ever bought. But I've loved them. Especially The Long Way Home because it adds to the story told in the DT books in a way that fits so well. Eagerly awaiting the rest. Just found out about The Stand graphic novel and The Talisman this fall.

I Second That
I second that opinion, the Dark Tower is the single greatest series of books next to the Lord of the Rings, and matches it, i recommend it to readers of every genre because, believe it or not, it has something for EVERYONE. It truly is a masterpiece of King's work and I rank it among some of the best literature out there; the comics are just a further testament to King's imagination.

What a Finale!
King has completed his greatest work with an edge of the seat book that completes the quest of Roland. I would recommend this as a 'must read'!!!
