Literally, the worst account of GWOT I have ever read and that includes graffiti in the porta potties down range. I wouldn't waste a nickel reading this garbage. I would have had a better time tying an AAFES shopping bag over my head and watching the Hurt Locker, while trying to remain conscious (and alive). Death would be a blessed relief compared to wasting your time and money on this. It's like accidentally taking a sip out of someones spit bottle...and then slowly drinking 20 ounces of Copenhagen spit. An illiterate goat herder tells better stories while seducing his livestock on a Thursday night. The only way I can imagine getting the garbage stories I just consumed while reading this book out of my head is by snorting a line of CS powder and slamming my head in an MRAP's door.

Outstanding book, told from the perspective of many different people involved in the conflicts in Iraq or Afghanistant. Hard to put this book down. Many good short stories. If prior service you will relate to these stories, if you have never served,it will offer you some insight.
