The (Mis)Adventure continues!
Donald Kirch hits all the right notes again in this continuation of Ka-Ron the Knight’s adventure. An evil from eons past has been unleashed and is bent on war and destruction, and it’s up to the bravery of our intrepid heroes to save the day. Written crisply and with ever-building tension, Ka-Ron (who now is wholly Karen), Jatel, and the friends they picked up along the way in the first book are determined to unearth the madness that has beset once peaceful lands and people. “The Lurker War” is emotion-involving, nail-biting suspense and action at its best, with plenty of sultry interludes to satisfy anyone who loves adventure, lusty diversions, and battles against evil for all that is good. Characters we grew to love in the “The Misadventures…” are here. We fear for and cheer each on as they face both shared and separate challenges. Loved this second installment of Ka-Ron/Karen’s tale and think you will, as well!
