The Mammoth Book of Paranormal Romance

Nice

Its a good book, some of the stories are very good, some not so much, and a few in between, but that's exactly why I purchased it. It allowed me to read many stories for a smaller price, and the ones I loved I can now follow the author, see if they have more books for me to purchase. Overall, its a worthy purchase for anyone (especially those of us who've seemed to have read them all in this area!).

ohh la la

this was a verrry good book overall. had a lot of different takes on romantic, if ur lookin 4 happily ever after or a nicely wrapped up ending in ur stories, be warned not all of these stories do that! for the large part the stories were great, some didnt reach the peak i though and felt they should have, especially from some of my favorite authors. I wish some could have gone on longer then they did, but thats not part of an anthology. overall read this book.

great for the "in between"

I was given two Mammoth books for my birthday and I never though I would get into it because I'm always expecting more out of short stories. So I decided to read these when I am in between books. My favorite author, out of the many in this book, has become Dina James. In the Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance she introduced her characters that are featured in "Once a Demon" in this book. I am eagerly waiting for her novel to come out to hear more of Kyle. Thanks to this book I have found her.

This was a fun read.

This book was a lot of fun. Some of the stories were awful, but most were interesting. A few were excellent and I thought it was a shame they were so short; I would have loved for some of the stories to continue on and it'd be great if the authors would consider converting them into novels. Strangely, there weren't many vampire tales in this book and of the few, only one of them was any good. My favorite story in the book was a fascinating and erotic tale about a Dream Catcher. Overall, I would recommend this book; especially to those who enjoy quick, easy reads.

Varied and interesting

I very much enjoyed this collection and some of the stories were truly outstanding. As with all anthologies, some stories didn't appeal to me as much as others but I have to say I liked almost every story in this book. It also introduced me to a couple of authors I hadn't read before but found fascinating.

not really worth it

some of the stories are good but for the most part its too short to get in depth enough to be enjoyable. i'd much rather get a regular sized book.

Found a lot of new author's because of this book

Gave me a good idea of other authors I would be intrested in, I would recommend this book if you're looking for new author's to read. I have a whole new list of books to read.

Loved it

This book was a great read. If you enjoy paranormal romance, I highly reccomend this. I really liked jeaniene Forst's story 'Pack'. It is her first story on weres and I cant wait for more. Illona Andrews and Kelley Armstrong also had good short stories in this book.
