    Highly Recommend

This is the second "Sam Levitt" book I've read (The first being "The Vintage Caper" in 2009). Peter Mayle is always funny - and his descriptions of both Provence and the cuisine there of – are wonderful. Some of the characters are held over from “The Vintage Caper” but you probably don’t have to read it first (but it is a great read too!). This is a light hearted story, colorful and enjoyable about the Marseille waterfront and 3 companies who want to develop it in different ways. The only thing I’d change is the cover of the book – which is not appealing.

    Engaging and easy

Sam Levitt's adventures make for a mental vacation. This story is a fun read without being amateur. I can't wait to read the others in the series.

It's a fun little mystery, not a very deep book. Not very litera

It's a fun little mystery, not a very deep book. Not very literary, just a fast, light read.

Highly recommended for Peter Mayle fans

Enjoying these new books by Peter Mayle about wine. Like the French background. Mayle is good at adding a French word or phrase here and there.

    A little bit of fluff

A nicely written little bit of fluff. A change from all the murders and mayhem that I usually read. It's nice to change off every so often and read something not too grizzly.
