Delightful!

Marshal Tucker is the perfect tough guy cowboy who doesn't want to get hitched. Very fun! I'll try not to give too much away here, but a woman from Tucker's past comes and changes all that. Sarah's son won my heart! And she is a doctor during a time in history when becoming a doctor is tough for a woman. I'm a sucker for a female who knows how to take care of herself. Always a good contrast to the hero who thinks he doesn't want to get saddled with a wife.

If you haven't read Sylvia McDaniel don't miss her delightful romances. Try a sample of this one, you'll be pleased. I'd read one or two of her books several years ago. It's fun to get a hold of the ones I'd missed.

Good story & good series!

I liked this series a lot. Loved the Burnett brothers and their strong fiesty wives.
This is the 3rd book in the series and a good finish.
Tucker and Sarah were probably my favorite of the series.
Tucker's carefree. Affraid of commitment and in love with his childhood ...

Tucker and Sarah were probably my favorite of the series.
Tucker's carefree. Affraid of commitment and in love with his childhood friend.
Sarah is a widow & has a child and is a doctor. She's a great match for Tucker.
Love Eugina the meddling Mom.. wouldn't mind another story with her finding another love in her life.
We also get updates on Travis and Tanner and their continuing stories.

I gave only 3 stars because there were so many mispelled words it drove me crazy! I read fast and it really slowed me down. (example- 'tight' for the word 'fight' , 'bam' for 'barn')
Also in the story there were so many repeats of the same info - the fact that he was a wandering man, that they both constantly remembered specific details of their night together, and more, just had paragraphs that were repeated over and over. I love a good long 500-600 page book, but no need to repeat info over and over!

Still the story was good, the author got my attention quickly and neld it! I had a haed time putting the nook down.
