Marci Meshevski Grant came to stay with her sister Nikki, the new town doctor in Climax, Montana, following the fire that destroyed her home and killed her husband of 12 years, Ted. She has lived those 12 being oppressed and repeatedly humiliated by the person who swore he would love and protect her all the days of her life. Grieving her lost dreams if not the man, Marci is more than ready to find a hot cowboy or two for some fun and games. Her sister Marci just happens to have a cowboy for her to indulge her fantasies with, Simon MacDougal head of the American MacDougal Clan. Simon and his twin brother Lance own and operate the MD Connected.

Simon and Lance are looking for a wife. One for them to share as is the common in Climax and Tanner's Ford. Will is be Marci or will time run out for Simon and Lance and they will loose the MD Connected forever? What is Marci hiding? Why does she fear the police finding her? How was her face really injured? Will she finally find true love with Simon and Lance? So many questions and all the answers are to be found in The Merry Widow of Tanner's Ford.

For those who do not know this book is a more modern setting for Reece Butler's Bride Train series. If you have not read them you might want to pick them up because they are great. You will learn first hand what Beth and the other brides wrote in those journals Simon reads snippets from in The Merry Widow Of Tanner's Ford. You will enjoy your visit to Climax, Montana whether the 1880's or the 1980's. The stories will no matter what time era are great and you will have a pleasurable time.
