book based on the awesome reviews it got,but i am starting to think they were all written by the author & her friends. Great only 1000 more pages of this god awful crappy writing.

I'm not sure where to begin.  Yes, the book has a rock star in it, that was a good point.  The rock star had a British accent, another good
point.  That's about where the good points end.  I absolutely hate giving bad reviews, I know that all authors put their heart and soul into
their books and I admire them for that.  That is the reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of less.  First off, the editing was awful.  I would
expect this kind of editing if I were reading an ARC but this is a for purchase book, I expect something better if this is put out there for
consumers.  The misspellings, the missing words, the panties that are taken off then suddenly reappear to be taken off again.  Those
kind of things should be caught in the editing process but they weren't.  Then to the characters, the actions and development of the
characters were unreasonable, childish, didn't make much sense and made me hope that these were not based off of real people
because if so, I would want to be sure to stay far away from them.  Trudy has to be one of the most wishywashy characters I've ever
encountered.  I am not talking about the cheating, I know that puts some people completely off a book but since I'm a sucker for soul
mates then I can handle a cheating scenario when it's appropriate and to be honest, that's about all that made sense in this book.  I try
to look for redeeming qualities in characters and usually I am able to find some but not in Trudy.  Jake, yes, I found redeeming
qualities.  He is damaged but has still made a success of himself and pushes through.  Sure, he stumbles, but he doesn't give up.
    That is his redeeming quality.
Now, I have read the reviews and I'm completely blown away at some of them.  I have to wonder, did we read the same book?  I don't
think so, I just can't see this book being rated as high as it has been, not with so many other excellent books out there.
