    Dangerous

Mos Def took a hugh step foward, discovering/creating a new band (Black Jack Johnson), and in the process revamping his sound. Mos dove deeper into the blues mixing it up with hip-hop and his signature sing-song type vocals. About this time, "The New Danger" is where Mos Def is in a holding pattern, and he executes his style with easy. This is his most refreshing album to date.

Mos Def is THE NEW DANGER!

I loved this tight sprawling Cd. Mos Def is Brave, Refreshing Rap that just does'nt lay there and stagnate! This production is a sonic boom! I loved every song on this Cd. I was just forced to listen intently because of the sheer artistry, talent, creativity and brilliance of this Cd! I got my monies worth and then some. I know why Mos Def is called a Renaissance Man!

    Disagree

I think this album is a reflection of Mos.. Mos Def incarnate.. He's the kind of cat that's gonna push the envelope and question everything. Even stagnant considerations of what HIP HOP should be.. what it should sound like. He has to do what he does and he's done it well.. Black Rock Coalition and all. As good as Common's Electric Circus. Time for the culture to grow up..
