If you need to know, read this book!!!

I enjoyed Gibson's 'Sell What You Sow', but this book is faster, easier and full of knowledge and ideas. A must read for any 'farmer' and their 'market'!!

Excelent book for the new or most experienced cook

I am a 24 year old girl with very limited knowlege of 'the kitchen'. This book covers everything from scrambled eggs to Boston cream pie (an excelent recipe for even the most inexcpereienced chef). Imagine making such a delectable dish for company and being able to say honestly say that it was made by YOU 'from scratch'. I finaly feel confident in the kitchen! I am able to to cook any common dish, such as fried chicken and pork chops, as well as many 'fancy dishes' and favorite deserts. This book explains EVERYTHING, from common ingredients to cooking methods in detail, and contains many of the recipies that every family knows and loves, in very understandable terms.
