Highly Recommended-no recycling!

It's been great downloading it to my Nook by 8:00 AM, even during a major blizzard. I just have to get used to navigating it. I love not having to recycle. I canceled my paper delivery after 3 days and it costs half as much. No more dirty, inky hands or having the paper...

I canceled my paper delivery after 3 days and it costs half as much. No more dirty, inky hands or having the paper falling on the floor getting to the rest of the article. You have to make sure you click on "new content" so it downloads. I love it.

NYT - Delivery is unreliable, Navigation is difficult

I do like the New York Times..but delivery via the Nook is not ready for prime time. About one third of the time it never arrives. Additionally, navigation around those deliveries that do make it through is difficult and obtuse.
Would not recommend subscribing at this ...

Would not recommend subscribing at this time. Save your money and frustration and wait for improvements

New Format is Very Difficult to Read on My Version of Nook

For some reason Barnes and Noble went from showing NYT as individual articles that you could click on, organized by section and article-- now, for some reason, only an image of the entire print version of the newspaper is available. So you have to enlarge images of the print version to read it. My Nook cannot handle all of the memory required to do it that way and either crashes or is so cumbersome to handle, I just end up reading online. I was very disappointed with the change.

Obama Times aka New York Times

This news rag is the worst I have ever subscribed to and the subscription should have ended already!

    Don't ever subscribe to this

Don't ever subscribe to this or anyother nook newspaper. Impossible to cancel. Won't let you cancel on B & N and if you call they tell you to go to B&N. Huge scam.

Not what you think it is

This subscription is not at all tied to the NY Times website, so it gives you zero access to the site or the NY Times apps. What you get is a very print-like experience. Little interactivity, poor navigation, no real added functionality above being easier to carry and more annyong to use than a newspaper. A ripoff at $20 per month.

WONT DELIVER ON SAMSUNG GALAXY Tab "S" 8.4

Signed up, paid , got icon of NYTIMES, but clicking / Tapping....wont open it, . message says " Not able to play in this device"......be forewarned.
Also, third party VERSIONS are all different offereings of the NYTIMES. Globe Internet APP on Samsung devices, brings up an Bookmarkable version close to pretty good, except a seperte 3 dot dropdown selection is needed where you choose the DESKTOP VIEW , for the desktop view which should be AUTOMATIC, .......but its actually better than the NYTIMES APP I get on Tablet.good luck.

I don't like the new format.  Instead of flipping to next screen

I don't like the new format.  Instead of flipping to next screen (like flipping pages of a book) you have to drag the article down the screen.

An much more difficult way to continue reading.  If they don't go back I'll be leaving soon.  Hope they haven't done this to all their newspapers.

    The Redesign is Terrible

What more do I need to say- I'm canceling my subscription. I'm going to try the International New York Times since a friend has informed me it's in a proper format to read.

    new format

I recently accessed my New York Times subscription and found the new format unusable! I can't jump to articles I want, I can't expand an article in the page format enough to read it, scrolling is poor... I will have to cancel my subscription after being reasonably happy with it for several years. Is there any way from me to go back to the old format, or at least have some optional formatting?

    Please note

It is nice to see the whole page as in the print edition,
But the text is too small and unfocused to read.

HATE the new format; not useful; will probably cancel subscription

Will likely cancel my Nook NY Times subscription. The new format is awful. Not all articles are included, if I want to see an article that is not in "Article View" I can only enlarge it on the page and it's still very small. The table of contents only lists the section headings instead of the articles. Have to scroll past all articles in a section if the one I'm looking for is at the bottom. This format is terrible and definitely not worth the $19.99 I'm paying for it. This is a major #NookFail

No notice of the change, just a new format for my NY Times. Whil

No notice of the change, just a new format for my NY Times. While I like seeing the actual layout, I cannot find a way to make it large enough to read. Several articles were missing, and there is no easy to navigate to a specific article by either touching it in layout mode, or by selecting the title in article view. If Kindle didn't do the same thing, I'm gone B&N>

Unable to open on Samsung tablet

I'm sure the articles are nice, but I couldn't get past the subscription process. And with so many free outlets to get the news from, trying to figure it out is just not worth the hassle.
