At first it seems like a simple collection of short stories, but trust your instincts and read on because Ms. Wickersham shows us that love, in all its varied forms, is never quite as simple as it seems. Her prose is perceptive and eloquent as she draws you in to the stories of seven seemingly unrelated characters, but what you will eventually realize is that she is penetrating your own soul in seven different ways, making you question everything you thought you knew about what it means to love and be loved. Was this review helpful?
