Great book for self-starters
I found this book helpful for preparing the house for the upcoming arrival of our first baby. It is great for someone who is already a list maker, organizer, and self-starter. The book is very useful in that it breaks things down room by room, and is thorough in what you will need for basics. Also included are some items that might be useful, but not a necessity. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
The author obviously did her homework in preparing this book, by providing many useful resources in the back of the book including websites, checklists/worksheets, and useful information on baby firsts (first haircut, first bath, etc.) The chapter on firsts tells what equipment or supplies will be needed, what you might expect and offers encouragement if the baby is not quite cooperating at that moment.
I recommend this book to someone who might be a little overwhelmed and not know where to start in the organization process, or who is very overwhelmed by all the baby items and lists of "must haves". It cuts to the heart of the matter breaking everything down into manageable bits of information, and giving encouragement to know you can get it done.
Highly recommend and will be passing to my best friend who is not expecting yet, but wants to get her home in order and be more organized.
