Best one yet, but the author and publisher should not charge two dollars to advertise Mr. McCall Smith's next book.

I believe this is by far the best installment of the Isabel Dalhousie series although it is a very short story. There are fewer than 42 full pages which are followed by a three-page list of the author's books and a generous excerpt from the forthcoming The Affairs of Yo...

    Waste of time

I really enjoyed The No.1 Ladies Detective series, so I thought I would check out this title from the same author, AM Smith. What a disappointment this book was. Flat and pondering, I wouldn't read any others in the series, nor would I recommend it.

    Not worth the money

It's only 52 pages! I don't know where the rest of the book is, but it's certainly a rip-off. It has one star only because I had to give it a star to continue. Definitely NOT worth even 1/4 star!

    Really Slow

A bit slow and tedious -- not a "beach book" at all.

    Not worth the time

This was not worth the $1.99 or the time it took to read.

What a disappointment from an excellent author.

Where do I go to get my hour and one half back? I have read all of the Isabelle Dalhousie books and loved them. This one disappointed.
