Being from the area where Massey is located and being familiar with the happenings and with the people involved, I bought this book thinking it would be interesting but possibly boring at times as it dealt with all the legal manuverings and the political machinations. I was wrong. From the first page I was enthralled. Leamer's style flows easily, his characters are human and I did not want to put it down. For those of us who know the story, or at least the parts we have read in the newspapers, this was the "rest of the story" that we had been missing. Very impressed and I will be reading more of Mr. Leamer's books.

    Highly recommended

I absolutely loved this book. The greed and corruption was mind boggling; the decade long fight for justice was nothing short of inspiring.

    A must read

This is a very well researched book that everyone should read. Leamer does an excellent job of following the story over time and telling the story through real people's lives.
