This book was a Godsend!! To me and my boyfriend!! Finally, he could understand what I go through each month in 'guy terms.' I enjoyed reading the book and being able to relate to pretty much EVERYTHING in it!! I highly recommend this to women with pms!! I shared it with all my friends!!Was this review helpful? Getting through PMS
My husband and I read this book together. It was a great way to start conversation because this book is a great mix of fun and facts. There are two parts to this book, one for the ladies and a survival guide for the men. It's a playful approach to a tense subject. I got to hear his perspective on what it's like when I have PMS and how we can both be more aware of how we affect each other. When sharing this book with my female friends, we tried to understand what were our triggers and what calms us best. Overall, this is a fun book with helpful tips and information to handle this uncomfortable time. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. 'The Princess and the PMS' is a wonderfully written manual that addresses the many dynamic factors associated with PMS in a comical and comprehensive way. Half of the manual is reserved for the woman while the other is designed with the man in mind. Both sections provide significant information to dealing with, approaching, and living through PMS. The text's language resembles that of a good girl-friend: matter-of-factly, straight to the point, and with authentic sincerity. Both sexes can relate to this dual perspectives manual, and it can even make for a fun way to learn about a part of life that's often misunderstood. Through reading the manual, my boyfriend better understands my needs and is able to identify symptoms appropriately rather than blame every on PMS. I, on the other hand, better understand how I can take care of myself to minimize symptoms through the nutritional intake and biological needs. It's a learning experience through which both sexes can benefit. Highly recommended! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
