New Poet Brings Breeze of Poetic Freshness
This collection of poems has its weaknesses. Some of the poems were written during the poet's youth and the emotional lack of poetic control is evident, but these moments of weakness do not hamper the originality or the sense of fun. Though many poems contain serious discussion on such subjects as Christianity and loss of religion, a sense of energy and vitality is never lost. First-time and inexperienced readers of poetry will find that these poems are easily relatable and experienced poetry readers will find a surprising depth of understanding even in the simplest poems. This book is recommended for all people who enjoy life and even for those who aren't enjoying life because the poet's unique and inspiring vision of life is uplifting to everyone. Was this review helpful?
