This was a really exciting book that had my attention from the first page.

Sari is living like a run away. She really doesn’t know much about her past. She knows that if men catch her that she will be sold into slavery because women are rare. For every female there are two males. Takes a little to really understand this book but it is worth it.

Calder and Taryen are consorts that are meant for the queen. The only problem is that the queen has been missing since her mom was killed. Calder and Taryn are used by other Rayian females and they have to obey no matter what because of the power the women have over them. When they are in charge of healing Sari they start having feelings for her that is only meant for their queen.

This book had mystery, suspense and passion. I got to experience new things while I read this book and the author did a great job. I just got so into the story line and the characters that I couldn’t seem to put the book down. I just had to find out what would happen next. I knew that it had to be something big. When I found out what it was it was I just couldn’t believe it.

I would hate to know I couldn’t control my destiny and never know that I wouldn’t get to make up my own mind what I wanted to do. I can understand why Taryen doesn’t want to have anything to do with women. If I had to live with what Calder and Taryen had to then I believe I wouldn’t be able to live with myself. It takes a special woman to heal the pain that they had to go through.

I can’t wait to see if there will be more books like this written by this author. It would make a wonderful series. It has M/M and M/F/M in it. There are some really hot scenes in this book.
