I have read every book by Sygnet that i can find!

Love all her works! Although I was intrigued by the book from the beginning and couldn't wait to unravel the mystery, I was a little disappointed in the ending and felt like it could have used another chapter called 1 year later. Still would give it 4 stars for keeping...

Still would give it 4 stars for keeping me hanging on with every word!

I wasted my money and deleted the book after suffering through the characters teenaged sounding speech pattern and poor storyline. A huge disappointment to me.

I loved the Erikkison detective series. This book ...nope

This almost 500 page was very poorly edited. It was also a downer. Nothing good happened in this book. Have you ever had a nightmare, in which other dreams are super imposed and you keep coming back to the nightmare right where you left off, you know you are dreaming, yet scared to death and it never seems to end? That is this book, it has more jumps than a grasshopper and all of them are from one crisis to another. It is so very depressing. Some of my first fears is being terribly burnt and not dying, losing my grand kids in a school incident or having my family murdered. Perhaps this book disturbed me so much, as it addressed my major fears. I enjoyed all nine of the Erikkison detective series, (they were not very edited either, it seems after those nine and the others Sygnet has written, she would have improved in this area, but nope.) Quite honestly, this book sucked. I hated the characters and the over view was not consistant with the book's plot. It is choppy and full of pathos. The ending sucked. Because of the extreme and detailed violence, murder, persecution of gays, insanity, dysfunctional family dynamics, lack of anything good and other disturbing adult topics, this book is for adults only. I do not recommend it. My advice, clean toilets at a low class liquor bar, you will enjoy yourself more and the toilets will not stink as bad, as this book.
