    George - Country Music Icon

It's easy to see why the Country Music Association nominated "The Road Less Traveled" for Album of the Year. As usual, George seems to have the Midas Touch. Every song he records seems to turn into gold. There are a plethora of quality hits on this album led by his record breaking 37th #1 Billboard Chart topper - "Living & Living Well". His current single(She'll Leave You with a Smile)is also moving rapidly up the Billboard Charts. A couple months down the road, his 4th single to be released from this platinum album will be "Don't Tell Me You're Not In Love". This is definitely a Five star rated album. Enjoy!

    strait country

I agree with Purestrait. If you listen to the words of Stars on the Water - you will see that it is country, it is all about southern living and southern life. It is about a better time and place. The entire album is great! I highly recommended it.

    Still the Best

I think George Strait is the best country singer there is.He just keeps putting out the best music and has such a great voice,he makes it sound as he is singing right to you and he has wonderful eyes,I love him for his music.Theres no better,Alan Jackson is close, but not in my heart, its been George Strait for 20yrs.

Run is good. But I question GS on ''Stars on the water''

After hearing Run, I decided this was going to be georges best album. But tonight I heard ''Stars on the water'' which ruins Georges Strait. Its computerized as in many pop songs such as in Kid Rock and Cher's songs. Definitly not country and definitly not GS. I gave it a 4 for the rest of the album, But i will never EVER listen to ''Stars on the water''. other than that great album. George listen to ''Stars on the water'' and then listen to ''Murder on music row'' I think you will catch my drift.

ANOTHER GREAT ONE FROM GEORGE, BUT WOULD YOU EXPECT LESS???

George has recorded another great album, ever song on it is great. If your a George fan you will deffinately not be disappointed, if your not one(for some odd reason) then you will deffiantely become one. It sticks with his idea that country should be country, not anything else. WAY TO GO GEORGE!!!

    GEORGE HAS DONE IT AGAIN!

I think that George has done another great cd. So what if he used a little computer enhancing sounds in STARS ON THE WATER?? It still maintains the good country sound that only GS can deliver. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GEORGE!

Stars on the Water is strait country

O.k. who cares that george uses a little production for once. It is what makes the album better than the rest. The Road Less Traveled is the best yet to come and is the most diverse album from George ever. FIVE stars all the way for THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Gorgeous George

I agree with George Strait nut. After hearing Run, I commented to my husband how it doesn't matter what George puts out, it's always perfect, and always country. Then, not ten minutes later, I heard Stars on the Water, and could not believe my ears. Rest of the album is great (as always), but skip the third track.
