    A triumph!

In a year that saw its share of royal romances and runaway brides, Carol Schede's 'The Runaway Princess' is a clear standout. Funny, sexy, tastefully raunchy, Carol Schede is a new author to watch!

    The Runaway Princess

Carol Schede's debut romance novel is witty, fast-paced, and satisfyingly sensual. I can't wait to read her next book.

A 'real warm your heart for the holidays' book

The Runaway Princess is a touching story of trust and forgiveness. Out of all the princess stories I have read, Carol Schede's is the best. A young princess runs away from an arranged marriage, but life in the US is more dangerous than she first thought. And meeting the injured Nascar driver next door makes it even more dangerous. To her heart, that is. Carol Schede pens a delightful, funny, touching love story. Even the cultural clashes ring true. The reader feels for both hero and heroine, right up to the gripping, wild finish when the hero risks his life for the woman he loves and the heroine lays down all she's ever known.

    A Wonderful Story

The Runaway Princess is intricately woven story of love between two characters that are worlds apart; a princess and a Nascar driver. Defying all odds, these two form a bond that not even the King himself can break. This is a wonderful story. Fans of Nascar will enjoy this story too, because Carol Schede gives us an idea of what it is like from the personal point of the driver, the love of the sport and the difficulties that can arise. Then to top it off, he falls for a real live princess! He hasn't seen difficulties until he's trying to save her from an arranged marriage in a faraway country. He stands to lose all. But without her, it doesn't matter.
