    A New Science Fiction Classic

There is a very good reason that The Sex Gates won Knowbetter Fiction's Best Science Fiction Award, and that it is one of the bestselling ebooks ever. That reason is: It deserves it. Darrell Bain and Jeanine Berry have brought something new to the genre here. There mysterious and instanteous appearance of strange, glowing green gates all across the planet changes the lives of four college friends and all the social, political, economic, scientific, and religious paradigms of the world. People going through the gates find they are made healthy and young, they also are instantly changed into the opposite gender. Some people who go through just disappear, as do most who attempt a second trip. Where do the gates come from? The world undergoes massive upheavals as a result of the 'sex gates', as do our heros/heroines. This wonderfully layered, insightful book explores issues of gender and society on a grand scale, really gets you thinking, and tells a great story in the process. This is a brilliant, important and fun book. The Sex Gates is a new Science Fiction classic.

    An Awesome Book!

I love it, it is the best book I have ever read in 5 years! I have been unable to put it down since purchasing it, and have even picked it up again, and again, just to imagine myself in the story. The written imagery is such that Becoming part of this story is really easy, If you buy it and like it, I believe there is a second out there.

    Bright, innovative and sexy

The Sex Gates is fantastic! Bain and Berry have created a very realistic sounding infrastructure which is woven into this opportunity to see how the other gender lives. I can't say when I have enjoyed such a 'cant-put-it-down' read recently.

    A Blockbuster

If you like science fiction, read this book! The gender change is almost a sidepoint to the real social, moral and political issues brought out in the story. There is real mystery here, and plenty action. The battle scenes add to the realism and irony of what good intentions the gates were probably put there for, but the real mystery is why? Once I read the first chapter I stayed up all night reading the rest. It's page turningly billiant!
