Sixth Grade Nickname Game
The Sixth Grade Nickname Game is about a class, the ¿Dim Bulbs¿, who get a new teacher, named Mr. Hughes. The nicknamers, Jeff and Wiley, give him the nickname ¿Mr. Huge¿. They give him that name because he is big and very noisy when cheering the kids on during their test. Because of this, the children can not concentrate and they are failing. Then a new girl, Cassandra, moves in and Wiley and Jeff both like her. In fact, they hurt their friendship when they start fighting over Cassandra. Because ¿Mr. Huge¿ is so loud, he¿s in danger of getting fired. But the state reading test is coming up, so the children are reading all they can to save Mr. Hughes because he always stood up for them. It reminds me of the time when we were all trying to do well on the NJASK. I would recommend it to kids my age because they would laugh out loud. What do you think will happen? Who do you think Cassandra will pick? Read this book and find out.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
