The problem is that it's too short, but it makes it a fun, quick read great for mature kids and adults. I felt Michela was easy to identify with, and even Camilla is easy to identify with on a bad day. This conflict is the heart of the book, brilliantly building from the first chapter and heart breaking by the last. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Great action, great writing, great book
I read this book together with my cousin, and we both loved it. I'm 25 and she's 15 and I can honestly say, it appealed to both of us. It's the amazing story of Michela, a young girl exiled into a dwarf community by her evil stepmother, Queen Camilla. Yeah, it's Snow White, but this is the story of the rebellion that followed. We read about Michela growing up and getting all kinds of resources to be able to overthrow Camilla and get back her throne. A captain in the dwarf army, she teams up with the queen's own huntsman and, well, I'd be giving a lot away if I continued. This is a quick read, but the story stays with you.Was this review helpful?
