It's refreshing to read how Jaden's family was and still is influential in her cooking. It makes this more than 'just' a cookbook. The writing is wonderful, the pictures are great. Good job with the camera girl! Best of all, the food recipes are easy to understand. It makes trying some new things not so hard. Great job Jaden. doug johnson

Versatile, Easy, and Delicious

I've now made three recipes from this cookbook, I've enjoyed all of them immensely, and I have more flagged to try. The Chinese Beef Broccoli and the Korean BBQ-Style Burgers in particular were very flavorful, and like so many other recipes in the book were made to seem easy without either oversimplifying or losing authentic flavors. Or maybe the word I want isn't so much "easy" as "logical." Every recipe makes sense; it flows naturally and seems effortlessly repeatable as well as a basis for variations on the theme. In addition, the photography throughout the book is gorgeous, and the writing is delightful to read. I can hardly wait to make some of the other recipes I've flagged. I can tell that this cookbook is going to be one of my kitchen standards -- and I have over 300 cookbooks.
