Outstanding Diplomatic Narrative
International relations today is driven largely by questions of 'morality', 'human rights' and 'sponsorship'. This paradigm only came into being with the First World War--prior to that war and diplomacy were driven by power, particularly where the great powers of Europe were concerned. This book not only narrates this bygone era, but examines the question: Why did the great powers, each lusting for expansion, coexist so peacefully for so long? Must reading for any diplomat, diplomat wannbe, or negotiator. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
