Only Jeannie Lin can take us on a whirlwind adventure through the dangerous world of the Tang Dynasty, eloquently bringing characters and places to life.  Sword dancer, Li Feng will stop at nothing to find the answers to her past.  Separated from her family when she was only four, Li Feng must outwit the most feared thief-catcher of them all, Zheng Hao Han when he catches her with a stolen jade pendant.  But capturing the spirited and courageous Li Feng makes Han only question everything he thought he knew about right and wrong and he’s finding it increasingly difficult to turn her in to authorities.  When a rebellion threatens to separate them, are a few stolen moments enough for Han to decide if Li Feng is the yin to his yang?  The Sword Dancer is a beautifully written love story that will keep readers turning the pages to see.

    captivating exotic adventure!
I was attracted by the exotic book cover of The Sword Dancer written by Jeannie Lin.
I was totally surprised to read a delightful novel written with charm and finesse.
It is the adventure of Wen Li Feng, the sword dancer and Zeng Hao Han, the thief catcher.
It is also a mystery suspense around the Vermillion Bird in flight, a precious jade that
Li Feng had inherit from her mother. Ms. Lin very well described the history beneath ancient China
where her characters travelled from cities to cities and end up falling in love...
The cover of the book really represent her heroine Li Feng. She has created a world around the Tang Dynasty. You will have to read this book if you want more details!
It is a fascinating historical romance, very well written by this new-to-me writer Jeannie Lin.
This is the first book that I read from this author and I recommend it to anyone who
wants to read something different. It is fast paced and I could not put it down

Jeannie Lin has written a beautiful romance that incorporates the dangerous world of the Tang Dynasty and the timeless love of Sword Dancer Li Feng and the Thief Catcher Han. This book pulls you into a world of ritual and deceit. Where right and wrong are at war with love and desire. The author makes you feel the pain and hurt that her characters endure. Here the past influences the future. Jeannie effortlessly combines a tale of deceit and greed with awakened desire and true love. Can the truth set them free? Will love prevail? You need to read this book to find out. I was gifted a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
