Interesting But Perplexing
I am not sure why this run-of-the-mill paperback is so expensive, but it is worth the money more for the story it tells than how it is told. I was certainly intrigued and found the story a fascinating facet of the Jack the Ripper murders. I do recomend this book to anyone interested in the seedy underworld of Victorian London. However, I was often perplexed by the poor grammar/sentence structure, unrelated tangents the author includes and occasionaly non-chronoligical story line. Overall, an interesting portrait of the East End and the Torso Murders marred by poor grammar and confused style.
