Every man should read at least one historical romance and if that historical romance should happen to contain an element of time travel, so much the better. Suzy Stewart Dubot's novella 'The Timely Gift' has romance, history and time travel, a handsome male lead and a beautiful female protagonist set simultaneously in the trappings of Regency and modern day Britain . The story contains all the essential elements of love, lust, mystery, disappointment and eventual resolution told in a concise and suitably intriguing manner which urges even a reluctant male reader to read on to the end to find out whether the lady gets her man - or is it the other way round? All this and time travel too.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
This is a short story, amusingly and fluently told.
Men, if you have to read one historical romance in your life, you could do a whole lot worse than start with this one.

This was a fun story to read. Perfect grammer and obviously well reviewed made it very easy to enjoy the story without the need to figure out what was being said. At the end of a quick 100 pages I wanted more. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
