As always, I read cover to cover in a matter of hours. Could not put it down. Impatiently waiting for his next book. I preorder all of the books he writes.

    Not well written

It is very doubtful that Clive Cussler wrote this book. Lots of filler written into the pages.

    So disappointed

Read the first three books and couldn't wait to read this one. What a difference another "writer" makes! I made it to page 54 and had to quit! Although the story line had promise, I couldn't get pass the 5th grade style of writting.

    Not best Clive Cussler

Clive seems to be turning out the same old plot over and over. And none of the good guys ever get hurt, let alone killed. But you will learn a lot about Atilla the Hun and the Romans. Which goes to prove, an average Clive Cussler is better than most.

    Clive Cussler...5 times removed.

I find little of the classic Clive Cussler in the Fargo adventures. This will be the last of this genre that I buy.

For me to enjoy an adventure novel there has to be a sense of believability in the plot. How is it that the Fargo Duo can show up and in mere minutes solve the mystery of Attila the Hun's burial. For 1500 years scholars have sought the burial site in vain.

Also the degree of recklessness the duo displays is unbelievable. I long for the return of Dirk Pitt.
