This is a wonderful book for any couple to read whether you're dating or married. This book made me understand what love really is (in depth) the title sells itself. It gives a discussion on the early stages of emotional connection from infatuation through the second stage of love and so on. It also gives key pointers and assesments on your relationship.

    The New Bible For Relationships

This book is a must have for anyone who has ever been in love, is in love, or ever hopes to be in love. It is a very readable guide to understanding and thriving in the various stages of relationship. Dr Love takes the best of Hendrix, Gray, Weiner-Davis and Gottman and adds to it her theory and produces a book with steps on to make a relationship work. She also normalizes the stuggles that we all go through and gives pointers that are doable about how to survive and thrive in them. In my 24 years as a marital therapist I have never read such a wonderful book about making love work .

A great resource to hold onto

This book took the blind fold off my eyes and made me look at not only my relationship but also forced me to take a good look at myself. I was forced to see how my words and actions affect my partner and how my communication was off and why. Pat is very thorough in this book, going in dept from step one all the way to forever. She asks questions and gives realistic scenarios that help the reader open up and pay attention. My highlighter is dry from all the important info and advice, i wanted to hold onto for my present and future. I am more aware of myself and my partner thanks to this book.
