2nd Book of a Trilogy
Dr. Gloria Brame is probably the premier sex education writer of the recent past. Her work is accessible and informative. This book is the second of a trilogy that she is writing as primers for sexuality. While here first book of the trilogy, The Truth About Sex was aimed more the sexual beginning, something one could give to one's teenagers, this book is precisely what it advertises, it is about sex for adults who have experience with sexuality and now want to expand it.Was this review helpful? This book covers the various different ways in which one can have sex. It covers different styles of sexual relationships, monogamy and polyandry. It redefines Kink and talks about how intimacy is used to enhance sexuality and about keeping he world of sexuality away from the mundane problems of the real world. She does this in an easily accessible, non-clinical manner that discusses subjects like sexual shame, BDSM, sex and self-esteem, anal and oral sex in a non-threatening way. The perfect book to give to a couple who are having sexual trouble or who have reached that period in their relationship after the craziness of infatuation who now have to figure out how to keep the sexual excitement in their relationship.

I must say that the cover is quite clever - the use of lady bugs
I must say that the cover is quite clever - the use of lady bugs having "sex" is very catchy as the red stands out perfect from the white background. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Now as for the book itself - its pure genius! I have never read a book that discusses not only the modern day personification of sex but also that of the stigma in the past. It discusses the importance of several aspects of sex, for example, with regards to masturbation and orgasm, and also that of the complications that humans put into it. It goes into detail on different types of relationships and sex acts; in a no holds barred yet classy kind of way.
I like the relatable examples in the book, and no doubt it has and will continue to help readers who are dealing with the same situations. It is fun to read, and you won't ever want to put it down until you finished it!
"Sex for Grown Ups: The Truth About Sex Volume 2" is fun, educational and full of information that can help (or save!) your own sex life! Thank you Dr. Brame!
