A must read for parents, teachers, and clinicians

This book is a Godsend and the most helpful book I have read on Sensory Processing Disorder. It literally offers hundreds of practical solutions and answers to every problem and situation a parent of a child with SPD might face. It covers every question you have about SPD and more. It is easy to read, understand, and use. You will find yourself going back to this book again and again and using it to make life easier for your child and for your family.

Excellent book! Easy and enjoyable to read and highly informative.

Excellent book! Easy and enjoyable to read and highly informative.

Every teacher should have a copy of The Ultimate Guide to Sensory Processing Disorder. Without knowledge of Sensory Processing Disorder, you tend to take your sensory system for granted, assuming the students in your classroom experience the world the same way you do. This guide to Sensory Processing Disorder provides critical information to help us understand the sensory processing needs of our students and how to meet those needs. A comprehensive guide that will exponentially improve classroom outcomes for students. This book should be required reading for all teacher education programs!

    I Also Recommend:

It's a MUST read for any parent or professional!

I am a mental health therapist who treats children with sensory processing disorder and I also have a nephew who has SPD. I found this book to be simple to understand and the case studies help tremendously! I first read The Out of Sync Child by Carol Kranowitz who endorses Ostovar's excellent book. I recommend this book to all my client's parents and also to teachers who may need tools/techniques in the classroom. Great book!
