Be careful, this book is only part one! If you want to try to read this one, be sure to have the other part handy! This book was okay, but I wouldn't read it again(and that's saying something, because I re-read almost EVERY book!). This book is more of an 'I-have-nothin...

*CONTAINS SPOILERS* This was the shortest thing I've ever read.

    *CONTAINS SPOILERS*

This was the shortest thing I've ever read. It shouldn't of been a "Part," but should of been an introduction.

The main character, Chloe, was so immature. She's fourteen, yes, but seriously. You'd think after seeing your mom being killed and finding out vampires exist, you'd realize how serious this is and leave the immaturity behind.

At first she didn't cry over her mom's death which was very weird. She cried while her mom was fighting the vampire, but that was it. All she was thinking about was killing the vampire who killed her mother even though Chloe shouldn't of been so stupid to think she could. "I'm going to be good, better than my mother, even. I'm going to kill Trevor for having my mother murdered." Oh yeah, I'm sure.

She woke up in an unfamiliar room with an old man sitting next to her, and she didn't think anything of it. She said she was starting to get use to "weird," which didn't make sense because of how early the book was. No one gets use to THAT kind of weird THAT fast.

She started crying at the end when she saw a picture of her mom. "I burst into a sob and started crying like a two-year-old." You think? That's pathetic that she cared. If the women who raised and loved me died protecting me, I wouldn't care if I had snot dripping out of my nose and a blood red face, I'm gonna cry.

"From that moment on, I was Chloe Kallistrate, a vampire hunter." Sooooo original. And despite how sucky this character is, of course she's going to go on to be great vampire hunter, right?

Needless to say, I wasted my time reading this book, and I will not waste anymore time reading any other parts to it.

    Just a preview

Be aware that this is just a brief, 52 page intro to another book. Looks like it could be a good story, though.
