Mark my words, Ms. Robson will make her name known in no time with this
great UF series ~Under the Covers

The Weird Girls is an amazing prequel to a new series. This new and upcoming author knows how to deliver suspense, humor, action and it’s a surprise that she is just coming out with a novella/novel now. Mark my words, Ms. Robson will make her name known in no time with this
    great UF series.

Celia, Taran, Shayna and Emme Wird’s parents were cursed and the end results are four children with very special powers. Not necessarily fitting into a specific faction; not just humans, not quiet witches, nor vamps or wolves, the Wird sisters did not have it easy growing up.
They were never the in crowd and even now as adults, the mean girls still treated them as outcasts. But the sisters are tired of it all and had found a life in a serene town of Lake Tahoe. And they will do anything and everything to protect the lives they had come to enjoy even if it means battling a coven of witches. I’m afraid to give too much but bottom line is these girls are down to earth, funny as hell, protect each other and totally kick ass heroines.

Ms. Robson is a new author to watch out for! Her writing is superb and she kept the book flowing with intrigue from the heartfelt Dear Reader until the end of this short story. I can’t tell you enough how excited I am with this series. These sisters are one to keep an eye out for in the Urban Fantasy genre.

If you like Amanda Carlson’s Full Blooded, Kendra Leigh Castle’s Dark Dynasty series and Cassie Alexander’s Edie Spence Series, you will love this The Weird Girls.

    Loved this!!!
This is a great little book with a lot of heart! It reads like a full length novel and is an awesome story that has several great twists and turns. Cecy Robson hooked me early and I just couldn't put it down! I was surprised at how much emotion she squeezed out of her characters and me in a relatively short amount of time. The sisters are unusual; each with very distinct supernatural powers, but the story is told through the oldest sister, Celia's, thoughts and actions. Celia is the strongest of the sisters and extremely protective. She is the big sister we all might wish we had, although I wouldn’t want to be on her bad side. The relationship between the sisters is interesting and touching. The story unfolds quickly as the sisters get into a confrontation (to say the least) with a witch and eventually are squaring off against the entire witch coven. It is just one wild emotion-filled ride from there. THE WEIRD GIRLS is action packed, funny and gut wrenching and kept me turning page after page. I am so excited about this series and believe Cecy Robson is a new author with incredible fresh voice.

    This book was great

I had read the first two books before I read this book and I can tell you that this book just pulls you in until the end. I wish I had read this short story first, because this does explains why they hate witches.
