I think this is my favorite Lydia Dare book so far. Ever since her vampire books, I've wondered about the Hadley brothers; and Weston Hadley (the youngest of the twins) did not disappoint. My heart went out to him throughout the book as he pined for Lady Madeline. And Lady Madeline I loved! She's someone who has never had an adventure and a little spoiled, but I wouldn't want to ride across England caked in mud either (so it's hard to blame her for any temper tantrums). The book starts off with their elopement after Madeline sees Weston shift into wolf shape and he needs her to keep his secret; but the marriage is just the beginning to this wonderful wolfish tale.

If you are looking for a Historical, Paranormal Romance that is fun to read – here is your book! I have never been disappointed in Lydia Dare’s books and The Wolf Who Loved Me is one of the best.

The Wolf Who Loved Me is a part of the Westfield Wolves series. This is one book that you do not feel as if you missed anything by not reading the others in the series. I will warn you that after you finish this book, you will want to read those books!

I love the characters, the action, the plot and that is wasn’t too graphic. I thoroughly enjoy it and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes this genre.

In this story, we meet the Hadley brothers, Archer, Weston and Grayson are rough, blunt and prone to creating a scandal. We also meet Lady Madeline Hayburn, daughter of the Duke of Hythe. Madeline's father is determined she make a good match. Even though Weston has admired her for a long time, he feels because he is not titled or wealthy, she is far out of his reach. During the full moon, Weston attends a house party at Madeline's home where she witnesses him changing into a wolf. After this, everything changes. Weston must ensure that Madeline will keep his secrets.

I was intrigued by the story line but overall it just seemed to be missing that spark and sizzle I was looking for. With that said however, the book did hold my attention and I finished it quickly and easily. I'm even looking forward to reading more about Sophie and Archer. Also, even this is noted as being a paranormal historical, the story is for the most part a historical with very little paranormal.

Due to an incident in the beginning, I actually had a hard time warming up to Weston. Weston and Grayson decide to race their phaetons and actually went out of their way to bring their niece and nephew along for the ride. To me, that showed immaturity and just plain ole lack of common sense.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read and I did enjoy meeting all the characters. My one wish would be for just a bit more spark between Madeline and Weston.
