As a long time fan of Lindsay McKenna’s books, I knew when starting The Wrangler that I would like it. What I didn’t expect was how at home I felt reading it. Even though the story takes place in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and I live in Texas I could still relate to the home town feeling that The Wrangler gave me.

When I first started reading The Wrangler I did not realize that it was #5 in the series. I never once felt like anything was missing or became lost in what was going on in Jackson Hole. It is just fine as a standalone but I will be going back to read the rest in this series!

This is a story of family, home and working the land. If you like small town, cowboy stories with some romance, then you should pick up The Wrangler!

    First

First book by her I've read. It seems like it was written by an amatuer. Not done well at all. Too much repetition of the facts. Don't plan to read anymore.

    Good Book

It was nice to read a book where people found out about each other and fall in love instead of lust ruling the day!

    Wonderful as always!!

Lindsey McKenna delivers as usual!! I couldn't wait to read the sequel and I wasn't disappointed at all. She keeps the faith that there are those out there who can learn from their mistakes like Griff did. Kudos to bothe him and Val!!
