Uprooted from there hometown New york City, the two sisters move to rural Fir lake and begin there new lives there. This book shows the drama and heartake af two sisters lives turned around as they learn to adjust into their new lives. But will younger sister Katie Wilder be able to adjust and keep up with her fast moving Sister Michaela? Or will secrets tear them apart?....
This story is a good lesson about relationships and trust.

' A book of many changes'

The Year My Sister Got Lucky is a about a girl named Katie who leaves New York City for rural Fir Lake. However, the big move is not her only problem. Her sister, Michaela is hiding things from her. Will things ever return to normal for Katie after she moves to the country? There was only one part of the book that I liked, which is the beginning. I didn¿t like anything else about the book. I especially did not like the end of the book. Halfway through the book the story-line and characters get really boring. Also, it was easy to predict what the characters would do and how the book would end. The climax was also very boring. In fact, it was hard to tell what the climax was because nothing exciting happened. However, if you are a ballerina or a dancer, you may enjoy this book. I think fourteen year old girls would like it the most because the main character, Katie, is fourteen years old. Overall, I would not recommend this book to anyone. It is very plain with no excitement. I would not read The Year My Sister Got Lucky again. However, if you do decide to read it, I hope you like it.

IF UVE READ TWILIGHT STAY AWAY

this book was so boring, i had to force myself to keep reading. i thought it was dumb and predictable. it only got descent the last 50 pages, the beginning of the book is just setting up for the last 50 pages, i hated it, i loved all of her other books, south beach, french kiss, and hollywood hills, but this was just a disappointment
