    Fantastic Read

As an avid reader of author Tina Donahue, I have come to love her attention to detail which give her readers a skillful visual description through the written word. These free flowing, well-written details are what make her books worth reading and make you feel like you are a fly on the wall watching the plot play out.

I have to say, there is nothing like a man with a Harley to jump-start a woman's heart, especially if that man is tall, dark, and handsome.

When Jasmine Dante is cursed by a jealous rival, she has to find a man to help her through the yearning without putting herself in any more danger. She knows very little about former US Marshal Mike Stearn except he oozes raw sexuality and seems like a nice man.

Knowing that this is the first paranormal story Ms. Donahue has written, I wanted to read it to see if it was as good as her other books. It was.

There are very few authors that I know of that can write in such descriptive detail without losing the flow of the plot or going overboard and becoming boring. I am still wondering about the erotic effects of tugging the hair peeking from beneath a man's arms but, hey it worked for them! One thing you cannot help do is laugh when you read how a woman teases a man to the point of no return, or when a man says he has to have his condoms custom made. Ms. Donahue has a way of phrasing things that will keep you chuckling through out the book. However, she also keeps you on your toes while trying to guess what's going to happen next.

I couldn't close this book until the end! However, The Yearning is not a quick read so you may miss some sleep (like I did). I do love how Ms. Donahue twisted a tale of a witch's curse, a man with telekinesis, two sisters, a frying pan, and handcuffs into a hot love story. My friends are going to love this book and I hope to see more paranormal themes from Ms. Donahue as she did a wonderful job on this one.
