My mother-in-law is so excited!
I am expecting a first grandchild in August and I have been reading everything I can get my hands on about parenting. My mother-in-law asked me if I had run across any good books on grandparenting, so I asked around and a friend suggested this book. I bought it, loved it, got a copy for my mother-in-law and she loved it too. It's just a great book, full of fun ideas and practical advice. I'm giving my mother a copy for Mother's Day. It's so fun to be able to share the anticipation of the new roles we're going to play!

Great Gift for new grandparents!
As many of my friends are becoming first time grandparents, I wanted a nice useful gift to commemorate their new "Status". This was the perfect gift to give, great value, and let them know I was thinking of them in this very exciting time of their life.

Practical advice
Finally, Amy Goyer has put her substantial experience in grandparenting into a book. It's chock full of practical advice that will align with your instincts -- and maybe even take your relationship with your grandchild a bit deeper.

Great for new grandparents, you and others!
I love this little book for its fun and creative ideas of how to spoil your grandchildren. After receiving it as a gift when I became a new grandparent, it is my gift of choice for family & friends as they also join the grandparent ranks.

Loved it, full of great ideas!
This little book is on my list of new grandparent gifts, one of the things we routinely give new grandparents at my church by way of congratulations! It doesn't talk down or lecture, doesn't assume you are an idiot who knows nothing about children, just has loads and loads of great ideas to pick and choose from for all ages of grandchildren. She has a great column at AARP.org as well. Highly recommended.
