So I randomly bought it at Barnes & Nobles because I was out of new books to read. I looked at the description and figured it would be some ordinary vampire book. Oh I was very wrong, from the very first page Christopher Pike had me addicted to this story. I seriously could not put it down! I'm completely astounded that I haven't heard of him before because apparently he wrote these books a long time ago! My advice is if you like to read books that are constantly witty, indulging, thrilling, and completely romantic you have to read this book NOW!

There was no meaning to the book and was too fast to really connect with. Also the romance was too fake and not real at all. really bad book. I have read many romance and vampire books and this one doesnt even compete. I really don't recommend it.

I thought buying this book would be fun and intriguing instead i was highly disappointed. I love to read but I could not even finsh this book because it was so bad. The storyline is confused and often slow, for example when the Alisa falls in love with Ray there was no backround to it. They met and talked maybe twice before they fell and love and he was willing to die for her. There was just so much to hate about this book and not much to like . I would not recommend this book to anyone.

This book was an absolute disaster.

This book was terrible. I always finish books, it what I do. And I did it with this one, but it was painful. The story was flat, at best. There were far too many loose ends in the story. There were parts of the story that you just had to guess or assume that something happened previously to make the characters do or say certain things. The worst part by far was the commentary. I get that the author was trying to make the reader feel like they were in the moment with the characters, but this was horrid. I felt like my IQ was dropping with every line I read.

    What is this book?

A weird, bloody, poorly written Vampire piece. Sita has one of the most difficult voices to connect with in any YA novel I've read in...ever. While there can be something thrilling in reading a book where 90% of the characters die by the end, this one was just exhausting. And Krishna? Really? We have to mix vampires and Krishna? Twilight fans beware, this one is not for you. It's a good thing the THIRST world does not exist, or everyone you met would be a serial killer or you're soul mate. OR BOTH! Just a silly, bad book that deserves the bargain price I bought it for.

    Kinda Disappointed

When I first opened this book, I thought wow okay....this is going to be good. But, as I felt myself going on it just kept going lower and lower. Honestly, I'm not going to even bother reading the second book. I thnk this book could have been a lot better than what it was...

    This book was absolutely horrid.

The character in this book thought way to highly of herself. Every sentence she is explaining everything she can do and how amazing she is. There was no romance or love in this book. You just couldn't connect to it what-so-ever.
