Great Album - his best since Mud on the Tires
What a great album! I had been counting down the days until it's release and bought it the day it came out. Paisley's voice is soothing, and as his life has grown (2 kids, a happy marriage, countless awards), so has his music. Toothbrush is one of my favorite songs, who else can write a song with the title Toothbrush and make it so meaningful? Gotta love his kids and Clint Eastwood talking on the same track. One of those Lives is a heartfelt song that touches you deep, and you will think about that song next time you are feeling sorry for yourself over some small thing. Despite his blissful life, fans can still relate to his heartbreak songs like I Do Now. The stunner on this album though is Remind Me, his duet with Carrie Underwood that will be burning up the charts this summer. This is is second duet with Carrie. The first one, off of 5th Gear, called Oh Love, seemed rushed and contrived. This one is just beautiful. Every person who has been in a relationship can relate. Carrie has a strong voice, and Brad's isn't as strong, but she doesn't really overwhelm him in this song. She also can tend to over sing, and she is more restrained here. One of her best vocal performances ever. It's also a departure for Brad, but a good departure. It's nice to hear him try something new but at the same time not alienate his fans. Buy this album!

Yet another huge release!
Been waiting on this one for a while... now after spinning it a few times, it was absolutely worth the wait! It's another solid release from Brad and showcases his real talent on both guitar and vocals. The production value is top notch and the songs are catchy, emotional, heart-felt, and instrumentally superior! Great release, check it out!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
