    Thread of Blue

For any fan of well-crafted songwriting and perfect arrangements, this is a must. Not to mention that Dana has a wonderful voice as well. This is her fourth album and each one gets better and builds upon the last. This is her swan song. There are shades of eastern influences in addition to the flowing, lush pop that is her strong suit. Any fan of Sarah Mclachlan, Shawn Colvin, Jewel, Suzanne Vega, Bjork, the Corrs, Alanis Morrissette, Dido, or even Enya would love this album. It's beautiful, moody music. The praise this album has received from critics is justified.

A Masterpiece of Musicianship and Songwriting

When I first picked up this CD I didn’t know that I would be completely blown away by the beauty and pure artistry of this album. It is an incredible mix. What I loved most about this album is that it did not sound like the same song over and over but with different lyrics. Each song is a unique harmonious blend of acoustic and synthesized sounds, topped with Dana’s incredible vocals. She has such a unique and almost ethereal sounding voice you will be drawn into listening to the entire CD in one sitting. The opening track “Thread of Blue” has a very eastern and meditative type of that immediately draws you into more incredible like “Seraphim and Seagulls” which is an uplifting and rockin track. “Love Set Free” is another song on this album that is a touching and beautifully written and performed love song. I would recommend this album to anyone who is a fan of beautiful music and incredible song writing.
