great omnibus worth buying for warhammer geeks

This book contains 3 novels in the warhammer universe along with a few short stories by dan abnett. If you like warhammer this is worth buying.
the first novel Gileads blood is the best most well written of the three dealing with the crazy adventures of an elf top rate fantasy writing

Hammers of ulric deals with the knightly order but is slightly less good then the previous. it tells the story from multiple perspectives which is off putting at first but has a great ending and is worth pushing thru if you get bored because it spends alot of time developing the individuals in the book and not stricly on the knights.

Riders of the dead is my least favorite only because it was so predictable. set agaimst the backdrop of a norse invasion the men of the empire rally to fight them off. I will say if you've seen dances with wolves or last samurai you will easily predict the ending of this novel. though entertaining is probably the weakest of the three. This also has 2 associated short stories which add basically nothing to the characters in the main novel, read them if your bored.

Overall def worth the money for the first two novels alone
