My favorite Koontz book of all time. Koontz takes his reader's on a creepy scary adventure of a ride while throwing in some of the funniest lines and most interesting characters he's ever written. You'll love this book. Creepy and scary but I laughed so many times while reading it I couldn't put it down and had to read it in one sitting. You will love the characters and the plot.

    Not good enough...

Although the book kept me at the edge of my seat as I read how the two main characters played hide-and-seek with the 'villian', I was sort of disappointed when I came to point where the truth is told. After all the hype and actions in more than 1/2 of the book, I had thought that the monster is something more that. It has lifted me high up into the air only to let me fall down.

    Ummm

This book was exciting for the first seven chapters. Then, the rug was pulled from under it. I have a theory as to what happened: Dean was writing the script and when he was up to chapter 8, his wife informed him that 'Dinner's ready', so he threw together a quick ending.

    Time has officially run out...

For being veteran of Dean Koontz novels I must say I was highly dissapointed in this novel. What started as a promising suspense novel turned into a comedy in poor taste. One can't help but grow attatched to his main character Tommy Phan, but as the novel moves along one feels themselves moving farther and farther away from believeability and enjoyment. The plot itself is in poor taste, with a horribly written plot and completely unbelieveable characters. Truely in my opinion this isn't one of his best.

    Not what i expected!

Not what I expected! Tick Tock was a very interesting book. At the beginning of the book he creates tons of suspense leading you up to what you think is going to be something full and great. The book really goes nowhere. The ending has a whole different attitude about it than the beginning. I have to be constantly impressed and interested in the book that I read and this book just doesn¿t do that. The ending is not scary and suspenseful like the beginning is. I feel like when Dean Koontz was writing this book he got bored with it or something and just made a quick ending to get done writing it. Whenever you are writing a fiction book you have to keep your reader interested. A story about a doll turning into a monster to kill a man is very fictitious. I feel like there is to many stories out there about killer dolls that are better than Dean Koontz Tick Tock. I wouldn¿t recommend this book if you are a hard to please reader like me. It¿s just not all there. I feel like I have read a story just like this before. This is the first book I have read from author Dean Koontz, but I will give him one more chance.
