Tidal is such an emotionally gripping story of a young woman named Willow who has been in the spotlight and focus of the camera since she was a young girl.  Damaged and broken, Willow carries both emotional and physical scars as a reminder of a past she tries hard to forget.  Her life is not one of her own, but one under scrutiny by all of America via tabloids and paparazzi.  There is no escape or respite for her, and she is constantly berated by her family and tempted to escape via drugs by her best friend.  Fresh out of rehab, everyone doubts Willow's strength, including herself.  She just needs someone to believe in her.  When Willow meets Cooper at a lunch meeting with the Hollywood moguls, she tries to fight her attraction to him.  She doesn't want to get close to Cooper, her new trainer, knowing it will only lead to a broken heart later when she has to leave him and the magical setting of Hawaii where he lives.

Cooper is a young man with his own physical and emotional scars, yet he sees something in Willow that no one else sees.  He sees Willow, the person, and not Willow the actress.  He has one rule:  He will not date clients.  But his feelings for Willow grow to overshadow that one rule, and eventually he can't fight those feelings anymore.   He becomes her savior in more ways than one.

"Am I hell bent on protecting you?  Yea, I'd rip someone apart to keep you safe...." ~ Cooper

"I'm f**ked up, Cooper," I said, .... ~ Willow

"We'll fix you." ~ Cooper

Cooper doesn't fix Willow, but his love for her performs miracles and invokes changes that only she can make from within herself.  Willow finds healing in so many ways, as she gains true friends she never knew she had.  Miller, Paige, Eric, and Cooper were the bright rays of sunshine that pushed through the dark storm clouds that constantly hovered over Willow's existence.

Tidal is a heart pounding emotional story full of angst, tears, betrayal, romance, and truth.  Emily Snow has outdone herself with this beautiful story of two damaged people who find solace in each other.  I had that feeling of wonder about Willow's future while reading.  Would she receive the happy ever after she deserved?  Would she and Cooper be able to be together?  My throat maintained a lump the size of my fist as I hoped beyond hope that Cooper really could "fix" Willow.  But, that lump of angst in my throat soon turned into a lump of joy garnering tears and a smile at the ending of this beautiful story.  I don't know from where in Emily Snow's imagination this story came, but I hope there are more just like it in the future.  Once upon a time Emily Snow told me a story....

    Absolutley amazing

Tidal is such a great read! I really enjoyed how Willow learns that no matter how damaged she is from her past, if she tries hard enough, she can get back up and things will get better. Her life after rehab is kind of like learning how to surf: at first it will be hard and you will want to quit but if you keeon tryin and dont give up, things will get so much easier. Willow learns that even if her past is damaging, she cant let it get in the way of her future. She gets help from so many different people like Cooper, Paige, and Eric and learns how to leave the past in the past. I really enjoyed the ending it was great and super cute! I really recommened Tidal to anyone as long as they are prepared for some adult scens like sex.... but otherwise it was truely amazing
