    Interesting premise, not well executed

This book reads more like a short story than a novel. Disappointing.

    Gary Paulsen Fan

If you like Gary Paulsen then you will love Time Hackers. It is very different from his other books. And the concept he came up with is amazing. At the beginning of the book the things that are happeningare very weird but it keeps your attention very well. This book is taking place in the future and they have developed holograms and how to go back in time. In the book, the main characters are Dorso and Frank, both 13 years old Someone is playing jokes on the boys but not your normal jokes. Dorso knows itis wrong because everyday he finds holograms of dead frogs, dead bodies and skunks in his locker. It might not be so bad becuase they only last a few seconds but it also smells, so it makes his gym clothes and books smell so nobody wants to be around him. They think someone hacked into the time paradox and is messing up the system. Their suspicions proved to be true when Custer was walking down the hall and gave Dorso eye contact which they are not supposed to do and when a wooly mammoth came out of nowhere, Dorso touched it. If it was a real hologram he would have been able to walk right through it. Read the book and go through the life and death adventure with Dorso and Frank and help them solve this mystery.
