Pirates and World War II England Who Could Ask For More!

Perfect pick for 9-12 year olds wanting adventure! Ted Bell writes for adults about spies and pirates and he is the perfect choice for young readers as well. Nick McIver is helping gain intelligence for Winston Churchill in 1940. Captain William Blood, pirate, is gathering the pirate community in the islands in 1781. Add a time machine and you have one rip roaring story combining fantasy time travel, history and high adventure. Loved it and can't wait for the second book in this series-

Kids Review - A Action Packed Book!

The Nazis invade the British Channel Islands. To help in the fight, Nick teaches himself to fly an obsolete WWI fighter plane that he found in an abandoned barn. He does really cool things like conducting bombing raids at night after taking photographs of minelayers and patrol boats during the day. Lots of action!!! He has a really cool time machine. His enemy pirate Captain Billy Blood wants to get Nick's time machine. Using his own, he travels to Greybeard Island where he kidnaps Nick's sister Kate. Billy Blood leaves a message that in exchange for his sister he wants the time machine. The book is awesome and is a fast-paced, action-packed time-travel adventure. You Will Love It! I almost gave to much away!
