Awesome read!

This is one of the best books I've read in years and the only biblical type of book I have read from front to back in 2 days. The ease and flow of Mr. Copland's writing style helps you stay glued to the pages and wanting more. I am going to read this again this weekend ...
This is one of the best books I've read in years and the only biblical type of book I have read from front to back in 2 days. The ease and flow of Mr. Copland's writing style helps you stay glued to the pages and wanting more. I am going to read this again this weekend as it is this good. All adversities and negativism to Jesus have been met with clear, concise and indisputable supporting facts. But what really makes this a great read is the style of writing which is easy on the mind, you don't have to sit there trying to figure out what he is saying to us.

This book seriously reads like the author has never stuck his head out of a fundamentalist church. When writing books "challenging skeptics", you would think the author would at least educate themselves on the information already out there. This isn't challenging skeptics, it's patting other Christians on the back.

    Standard christian claptrap

No offense to the author, who is entitled to his beliefs. This book offers nothing new to the non-believer. It trots out the same arguments, uses the same misrepresentations of evolution and athiests etc. Basically it's a book for christians written by a christian offering nothing substansive, but written very well.

300 pages of junk. My 11 year old has a better grasp of science than the author.

    Nothing useful

I only gave this drivel one star to drag down its aggregate rating. There is nothing new or worthwhile here. Just the usual straw man and red herring logical fallacies. All the assertions of this so-called 'author' have been made (and disproven) by theologians and/ or scientists of far more intelligence, discernment, and talent than this rube.

    Fallacious

I couldn't even get through the first 'argument' without finding several skewed views towards atheism.

I expected better, and shouldn't have.

This book could have been good. Sadly, the author appears to have avoided even the slightest bit of research or fact-checking. I looked forward to reading this, but was so astonishingly disappointed at the ignorance displayed in the first few chapters that it took me a considerable amount of time before I was able to steel myself enough to brave its vapid meanderings.

I couldn't get past some first bits of this book because of the blatant ignorance and disregard for actual truth. It's all a bunch of mindless self-indulgent crap in order to make himself feel above those without faith.
