Good history, questionable objectivity
A solid history of the region through the split with Stalin. Includes personal reminisinces of the author's travel in the region during key periods. Very straightfoward treatment of the Ustasha, but tends to be an apologist for Tito, lionizes him, glosses over some of his repressive acts. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
